Graham Snell - Director

Hi I’m Graham and I have over 15 years’ experience recruiting for companies within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Starting out in corporate I quickly realised that it was me the customers were buying into, and in 2014 decided I would strike out on my own.

After five years as a partner within the Zachary Daniels business I decided it was time to set up a company dedicated to the markets I know and enjoy so much. So along with Paul we set up Sauce People at the end of 2019. Sauce People has given me the flexibility to provide first class service to my customers, and to actively participate in the lives of my two young children.

I live and work in rural West Yorkshire, and evenings and weekends are spent doing family activities such as walks, picnics or spectating at the skate park. I also make sure to fit in daily exercise as I find that when I feel physically fit and healthy, I feel much better mentally.

Paul Thirlwell - Director

Hello, I’m Paul and here is a little about myself:
After graduating from Leeds University, I started my career in banking. With a head for figures and a keen eye for detail I transferred my skills across to the recruitment sector in the year 2000.

Starting out as a key account manager with a large regional agency, I decided to spread my wings a few years later and started up a new agency focussing on temporary recruitment within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector. After selling the business to a large national company in 2016, I now concentrate on Perm placements in roles across a variety of industries. I feel that my honest and ethical approach to recruitment has helped me to develop strong links and relationships within the industry.

With a young family taking up most of my spare time, I occasionally escape their clutches, and on such occasions can usually be found either on the golf course, walking in the hills, or in one of the local hostelries.
